The events

  1. How long is a wushu taolu routine?An adult optional routine in changquan, nanquan or their weapon events lasts between 1 minute 20 seconds and 1 minute 35 seconds.
  2. How big is the wushu taolu competition area?Individual routines and duilian are performed on a mat 14 metres long and 8 metres wide, marked by a white line 5 cm wide, with a safety area of at least 2 metres around it.

How a routine is scored

  1. What is the overall performance score in wushu taolu?Overall performance is the 3-point mark for how the whole routine looked.
  2. How does the difficulty score work in wushu taolu?Difficulty is worth up to 2 points: 1.4 for difficulty techniques and 0.6 for the connections that follow them.
