Snowboard and freestyle skiing
Snowboard and freestyle skiing share one FIS rule book and three kinds of event. Halfpipe, slopestyle and big air are judged: three to seven judges score each run from 0 to 100. Moguls runs are scored on turns, the two air jumps and speed. In snowboard cross and ski cross, riders race in heats of four or six over jumps, banks and rollers, the top two or three going through until the big final. In parallel events two riders race side by side on red and blue courses.
