Table tennis as modified and organised under its own rules and regulations for athletes with an eligible impairment, played under the Laws of Table Tennis with provisions for wheelchair players and players with a physical disability. Athletes compete in sport classes 1 to 11.

Classes 1 to 5 are for players who play seated, class 1 being the most impaired. Classes 6 to 10 are for players who play standing, class 6 being the most impaired. Class 11 is for players with an intellectual impairment. A higher number means more function.
