Can a padel coach give advice during a match?
A · Advanced · Time and conduct · 3 of 3Conduct breaches follow a scale: a warning, then a warning with loss of a point, then disqualification. Coaches get a warning, then expulsion. Time violations start with a warning, then cost a serve or a point. An accredited coach may advise only during rest times. Serious aggression can bring disqualification at once.
How it works
- Players: warning, point, disqualification.
- Coaches: warning, expulsion.
- Time violation: warning first.
- Then: server loses a serve, receiver a point.
- Coaching: rest times only.
- Other stoppages: umpire decides.
- Direct disqualification: grave aggression.
- Cumulative: pair and coach together.
The glossary has the table of penalties, the time violation penalty, the coaching, the direct disqualification, the attire and the umpire.
