When is a point replayed in padel?
A · Advanced · Serving and play · 1 of 3Checked 15 October 2026
A point is replayed if the ball splits or something outside the players disrupts play; the player must claim it at once. Interference that puts off an opponent's shot loses the point if deliberate. If accidental it is a let, but a second accidental one by the same pair loses the point.
How it works
Tricky cases
I shout during an opponent's shot. Result?
Interference; the point if deliberate.
A ball from another court rolls in. Result?
A let, if claimed at once.
I play on and then claim a let. Allowed?
No. It must be claimed at once.
Can a let be given twice for the same pair's interference?
No. The second loses the point.
Why the rule exists
Lets put right what neither pair caused, while repeated distraction is punished.
