How a match works, in a minute
How a wheelchair curling game works
- Wheelchair curling is curling with every stone delivered from a still wheelchair, by hand or with a delivery stick.
- There is no sweeping at any time.
- Teams of four are mixed: both genders must be on the ice throughout.
- It is played under the Rules of Curling, so scoring works as in curling: after each end, the team with the stone nearest the centre scores. The higher total after the ends wins.
How long
A game is scheduled for eight ends. Each team has 38 minutes of thinking time on a clock.
