Penalties
- What is a game misconduct in inline hockey?A misconduct removes a player for ten minutes, but a substitute may replace them at once, so the team is not short.
- What is a delayed penalty in inline hockey? When the team without the puck commits a foul, the referee raises an arm and lets play run until the offending team touches the puck.
- When is a penalty shot given in inline hockey?A penalty shot is given when a player in control of the puck, over the centre line with only the goalkeeper to beat, is fouled from behind and loses a fair scoring chance.
- Is body checking allowed in inline hockey?Inline hockey is not a body-checking game: running at or checking an opponent can be penalised as charging, interference or roughing.
