Banked slalom

A time trial through gates set on banked turns, with one rider on the course at a time. The course is 300 to 600 m long with an average slope of 15 degrees and an ideal bank radius of 8 to 12 m. Riders make two timed runs and the faster counts.

Giant slalom

Dual banked slalom

Two competitors race side by side on two matched banked slalom courses, the left one set with red and the right one with blue poles, 250 to 350 m long. The two courses are 6 to 7 m apart.
