The game

  1. How do you win a game of 3x3 basketball?Be the first team to reach 21 points, or be ahead when 10 minutes run out.
  2. How many points is a basket worth in 3x3?One point from inside the arc and two points from behind it.
  3. Why do 3x3 players run out behind the arc before they shoot?Because a team that wins the ball must take it behind the arc before it can score.
  4. How long does a 3x3 team have to shoot?Twelve seconds.

Violations and fouls

  1. What happens when a shooter is fouled in 3x3?One free throw if the missed shot was from inside the arc, two if it was from behind it.
