India at the World Championships

India has not played. The 2026 teams from Asia and Oceania came through the 2025 Asia-Oceania championships: Japan, Australia and American Samoa for the men; China, Japan and Australia for the women. India's men, entered by the American Football Federation of India, were 11th at both Asia-Oceania championships: in 2023 they won one of five group games, and in 2025 lost both group games and both consolation games. A news report says India withdrew from the 2024 world championships in Finland because of visa problems.
