How a match works, in a minute
How a wheelchair tennis match works
- Wheelchair tennis is tennis under the Rules of Tennis, with a few exceptions. Points, games and sets are won as in tennis.
- The ball may bounce twice before it is returned. The first bounce must land in court; the second may land in or out.
- The chair counts as part of the body, and a player must have a buttock on the seat when hitting the ball.
- There are Men's, Women's and Quad categories. Quad is open to any gender in one draw.
