How a match works, in a minute
How a racquetball match works
- Racquetball is played in a closed court 40 ft long, where every wall and the ceiling are in play.
- The server bounces the ball and hits it to the front wall; it must land beyond the short line.
- Each return is hit on the fly or after one bounce, and must reach the front wall before touching the floor. Two bounces, or missing the front wall, lose the rally.
- Under international rules a point is scored on every rally. A game goes to 11, won by two, and a match is best of five games.
