  1. Who can compete in para-cycling?Riders need one of eight permanent eligible impairments meeting the UCI's minimum criteria, such as a 7 cm leg length difference.

Racing

  1. How does the para-cycling team sprint work?The tandem sprint is for B riders over three laps; after a 200 m qualifier the eight fastest go into a knockout.
  2. How are para-cycling results ranked?In the track scratch race each class has its own event, results and medal ceremony; a class with fewer than six riders races with the next class up but still gets its own medals.
