How a CP football match works

1. CP football is seven-a-side football for players with cerebral palsy or a related neurological impairment, played under football's laws with some changes.
2. The pitch is smaller than in football (70 m by 50 m), and there is no offside. A throw-in may be rolled.
3. Players are in three sport classes, FT1 (most affected) to FT3 (least). A team must keep at least one FT1 on the field and may have only one FT3.
4. The team with more goals wins. A level knockout match goes to extra time, then kicks from the penalty mark.

How long

Two halves of 30 minutes; women play 25-minute halves on a smaller pitch.
