The game

  1. What is a boccia ramp?A BC3 ramp must fit in 2.5 m by 1 m, with no lasers, levels, brakes or sights.

Playing an end

  1. How long does each boccia player have?Each side has its own clock for each end: BC1 4:30, BC2 3:30, BC3 6 minutes, BC4 3:30, teams 5 minutes, BC3 pairs 7 minutes and BC4 pairs 4 minutes.
  2. What can a boccia ramp assistant do?The BC3 ramp operator stays in the box, may not look at the court during an end and moves the ramp, chair or ball only as directed.

Violations

  1. What is a penalty ball in boccia?A retraction removes a ball released in violation, such as before the colour is shown.
