The warm-up area opens 95 minutes before a match and closes 40 minutes before. Sides register in the call room 35 to 20 minutes before with all kit; late sides forfeit. A coin toss there decides colours; balls are checked. On court each side then warms up for two minutes.

How it works

  • Warm-up area: 95 to 40 minutes before.
  • Call room: 35 to 20 minutes before.
  • Late: forfeit.
  • Leaving after registering: lose the place.
  • Coin toss: the winner chooses red or blue.
  • Ball check: in the call room.
  • On court: two minutes, six balls and the jack.
  • Uncooperative warm-up: a penalty ball.

The glossary has the warm-up (boccia), the call room (boccia), the coin toss (boccia), the ball check, the coach (boccia) and the captain (boccia).
