The jump

  1. How do you win the triple jump?The triple jump is a hop, a step and a jump made in one run, ending in sand.
  2. Which foot lands where in the triple jump?The hop lands on the same foot that took off.
  3. What is a foul at the board?The take-off line is the edge of the board nearer the sand.

The competition

  1. How many jumps does each athlete get?Where more than eight athletes compete, each has three trials.
